NutriTracker
Editorial Policy
Last updated: April 2026
This page explains how NutriTracker produces, reviews, and corrects the content published on NutriTracker.io. It covers editorial standards, authorship, health content guidelines, publisher disclosures, and our corrections process.
1. Who we are
NutriTracker is a chat-first AI coaching platform for nutrition and fitness. NutriTracker.io is published by NutriTracker Ltd. The editorial lead is Jacob Eells, Founder and Managing Director.
Publisher disclosure: NutriTracker is both the publisher of this website and a participant in the AI coaching category it writes about. Where NutriTracker is discussed alongside competitors, this relationship is disclosed explicitly in the content. We are not a neutral third party — we are a developer reviewing our own category.
2. How content is produced
Content on NutriTracker.io falls into three categories:
- Product and feature pages — written by the NutriTracker team based on how the product actually works. Claims about product behaviour are verified against the live product before publication.
- Category and comparison guides — written based on direct product use, App Store research, published competitor marketing, and observed category trends. These are periodically reviewed and updated as the market changes.
- Blog posts and opinion pieces — written by Jacob Eells or the NutriTracker team, drawing on personal experience, user feedback, and publicly available research. Where external research is referenced, sources are cited or described.
All published content is reviewed by at least one team member before going live. Content that makes health-adjacent claims is reviewed with additional care to ensure it is appropriately caveated and does not overstate the product’s capabilities.
3. Health and nutrition content standards
NutriTracker operates in a health-adjacent space. We take the following approach to health content:
- No medical or clinical claims. NutriTracker.io does not publish content that constitutes medical advice, clinical guidance, or specific treatment recommendations. Where topics touch medical concerns, we recommend readers consult a qualified professional.
- Product claims are product claims. Claims about what NutriTracker does are statements about the software product — not about health outcomes. We do not claim that using NutriTracker guarantees any particular health result.
- Guardrails language reflects product behaviour. When we describe how NutriTracker coaches handle sensitive topics (such as weight, restriction, or mental health), this reflects actual product-level guardrails built into the coaching system — not aspirational marketing language.
- We avoid diet culture framing. Content is written to be supportive, not prescriptive. We do not use before/after language, extreme transformation framing, or guilt-based motivational approaches in our editorial content.
4. Comparison and competitive content
When NutriTracker publishes comparison content (such as “NutriTracker vs Dragon Coach AI” or “Best AI Coaching Apps 2026”), the following standards apply:
- Competitor information is based on their publicly available product, App Store listings, marketing pages, and direct use of the product where possible.
- We flag our position as a participant in the category at the top of comparison content.
- We do not fabricate negative claims about competitors. Where we note a limitation, it is based on direct observation or public documentation.
- We do not accept payment, affiliate commissions, or sponsored arrangements for mentions or rankings in comparison content.
5. Reviews and testimonials
Reviews and testimonials displayed on NutriTracker.io are from real users who used the product during the development period or after public launch. They were collected through direct feedback, App Store reviews, and follow-up conversations.
We have not paid for, incentivised, or generated any testimonial. Where users are identified by first name and initial only, this reflects their preference for privacy. We do not modify the substance of what a reviewer said — minor edits for formatting or length are made only with the reviewer’s agreement or where the original meaning is fully preserved.
6. Update frequency
Product and feature pages are updated when product behaviour changes. Comparison and category content is reviewed periodically — typically every three to six months, or when significant category changes occur. Blog content is not retrospectively revised unless factual errors are identified.
Where a page has been meaningfully updated, the “Last updated” date at the top of the page reflects the most recent substantive revision.
7. Corrections
If you believe content on NutriTracker.io contains a factual error, we want to know. Please contact us at hello@nutritracker.io with the page URL, the specific claim you believe to be incorrect, and any supporting evidence.
We aim to review correction requests within five working days. If a correction is warranted, we will update the page and note the change where appropriate. We do not remove accurate content on request, including content that is unflattering to a competitor, unless it is factually incorrect.
