NutriTracker can connect to Google Fit (and Health Connect on newer Android devices) to sync your activity and health data.
Google Fit vs Health Connect #
Google Fit is the original fitness data platform for Android. Health Connect is the newer, privacy-focused health data API that replaces Google Fit on Android 14 and above. NutriTracker supports both – you will be prompted to connect whichever is available on your device.
What data is synced? #
- Steps and activity
- Workouts and exercise
- Heart rate
- Body weight (if recorded in Google Fit or Health Connect)
How to connect #
- Go to Settings > Integrations > Google Fit
- Tap Connect Google Fit (or Connect Health Connect on supported devices)
- Sign in with your Google account and grant the requested permissions
Disconnecting #
To disconnect, go to Settings > Integrations > Google Fit and tap Disconnect. You can also revoke access from your Google Account permissions page.
