Cancelling Your Subscription

Cancel through the provider that manages your subscription. NutriTracker web can cancel Stripe subscriptions; Apple and Google Play subscriptions must be cancelled through the store. v2.2 cancellation save and winback surfaces are web Stripe only.

Before you start #

  • Check Settings > Subscription to see your provider.
  • Web Stripe users may see a cancellation save offer or reactivation card when eligible.
  • Cancelling your NutriTracker account does not always cancel Apple or Google Play billing. Cancel the store subscription separately.
  • Keep a copy of any receipt or confirmation email.

Where to find it #

iOS #

  1. Open iPhone Settings.
  2. Tap your name.
  3. Tap Subscriptions.
  4. Tap NutriTracker and cancel there.
  5. In NutriTracker, Settings > Subscription can show plan status and Restore purchases.

Android #

  1. Open Google Play.
  2. Tap your profile icon.
  3. Tap Payments & subscriptions.
  4. Tap Subscriptions.
  5. Tap NutriTracker and cancel there.

Web #

  1. Open NutriTracker Settings.
  2. Open Subscription.
  3. Click Cancel subscription on the Stripe-managed subscription card.
  4. Confirm Cancel subscription in the dialog.

How to use it #

  1. Identify the provider: Apple App Store, Google Play, or Stripe.
  2. Use the correct cancellation path for that provider.
  3. Read the cancellation confirmation carefully. Trial and paid-period behaviour can differ.
  4. For web Stripe subscriptions, review any save or reactivation option shown. It is optional and does not apply to Apple or Google Play billing.
  5. Save the confirmation.
  6. Return to NutriTracker and refresh Subscription if you want to check account state.

What happens next #

  • For Stripe paid subscriptions, NutriTracker normally keeps Pro access until the current period ends.
  • For Stripe trials, the cancellation dialog can state that the trial ends immediately.
  • Stripe users with a scheduled cancellation may see a reactivation card before access ends.
  • Apple and Google Play control store cancellation timing and billing.
  • After access ends, the account moves to Free and Pro-only features lock.

Troubleshooting #

  • I cannot find the subscription in Apple or Google. Check the Apple ID or Google account used to buy it. Store subscriptions are tied to the store account, not just your NutriTracker login.
  • NutriTracker still says Pro. You may have access until the period end. Use Restore purchases or sign out and back in if status looks stale.
  • I deleted my account but still got charged. Cancel the Apple or Google Play subscription in the store. Contact support with provider details if you need help identifying it.
  • The web cancel button is missing. The subscription may be Apple or Google managed, or you may be on Free. Check Managed by on the Subscription screen.
  • I saw a save offer on web but not mobile. That is expected for v2.2. Cancel-save and winback are web Stripe surfaces only; Apple and Google Play remain store-managed.
