Logging Workouts Through Chat

You can tell your coach about workouts in normal language. NutriTracker is coaching-led, so the goal is useful context rather than perfect exercise bookkeeping.

Before you start #

  • You need to be signed in to use NutriTracker's app features.
  • On mobile, check Settings > About NutriTracker to confirm your installed version. v2.2 mobile builds are iOS 2.2 build 4 and Android 2.2.0 version code 15. Feature Requests, Intermittent Fasting, Manual Weight Logging, Invite friends, and Coaching Rhythm controls are live for signed-in users on current app versions.

Where to find it #

iOS #

  1. Tap Chat.
  2. Use the message box to describe the workout.

Android #

  1. Tap Chat.
  2. Use the message box to describe the workout.

Web #

  1. Open /chat.
  2. Use the message box to describe the workout.

How to use it #

  1. Tell your coach what you did, such as "I did 35 minutes upper body and it felt heavy."
  2. Include duration, intensity, sets, distance, or how you felt only when it matters.
  3. Ask for a next step if you want one, such as recovery, dinner, or tomorrow's training adjustment.
  4. Connect Apple Health or Health Connect if you want workouts to sync automatically from supported health data.

What happens next #

  • The coach can use the workout in conversation and may reflect it in insights or reviews when saved context is available.
  • Connected health data can fill in workout minutes or activity context without manual chat entry.
  • If a workout is important for future guidance, ask the coach to remember the relevant pattern.

Troubleshooting #

  • The coach misunderstood the workout. Correct it in Chat with the exact detail: exercise, duration, intensity, or goal.
  • The workout is missing from Insights. Sync Apple Health or Health Connect, or tell the coach again with enough detail for context.
  • I do not want workouts remembered. Say so in Chat and check Your Memory for any saved workout-related memory.
  • I need a medical decision about training. Use a qualified professional for medical or injury-specific advice.

Privacy and safety notes #

  • Workout details can be health-adjacent. Share only what you want used for coaching.
