Your profile gives your coach basic context such as your name, country, goal, and preferences. Keep it simple and update it when real life changes.
Before you start #
- You must be signed in.
- Some goal tuning and advanced personalisation controls are Pro features.
- NutriTracker is coaching support, not medical monitoring. Use professional advice for clinical goals or conditions.
Where to find it #
iOS #
- Open Settings.
- Tap Profile for account basics.
- Use Settings > Coach > Goal Tuning for how your coach suggests goal changes.
Android #
- Open Settings.
- Tap Profile for account basics.
- Use Settings > Coach > Goal Tuning for how your coach suggests goal changes.
Web #
- Open Settings.
- Open the Account section for Personal Details.
- Open the Coach or Plans sections for coach-led goal controls.
How to use it #
- Update your name, date of birth, country, gender if you want to provide it, and primary goal where those fields are shown.
- Save changes before leaving the screen.
- Use Goal Tuning to choose whether your coach can suggest changes automatically, ask first, or leave goal changes off.
- Tell your coach about anything important that is not a profile field, such as shift work, travel, injury recovery, food preferences, or a busy week.
What happens next #
- Saved profile details become part of your account context.
- Your coach can use the updated details in future chat, insights, and reviews where consent allows.
- Goal Tuning controls how assertively the coach suggests changes; it does not force you to accept a goal.
Troubleshooting #
- My change did not save. Stay on the screen until the save completes, then reopen the profile screen. If it reverts, check your connection and try again.
- I cannot find Goal Tuning. On iOS and Android it sits in Settings > Coach. On web, check Settings > Coach or Settings > Plans.
- I want the coach to stop mentioning something. Use a guardrail or tell your coach directly. For memory items, use Your Memory to correct or delete what the coach remembers.
- My country or units look wrong. Update the profile fields on web Settings > Account or mobile Settings > Profile, then restart the app if values in older screens do not refresh immediately.
Privacy and safety notes #
- Only provide information you are comfortable using for coaching personalisation.
- Profile details can be exported or deleted with your account data.
