Creating Your Account

Your NutriTracker account keeps your coach, chat history, subscription, settings, referral attribution, and progress data connected across platforms.

Before you start #

  • Use an email address you can access. Password reset links are sent by email and expire after 30 minutes.
  • If you sign in with Apple or Google, use the same provider each time so NutriTracker can find the same account.
  • If you came from Find Your Coach or an invite link, continue in the browser or app flow that opened from that link so safe quiz and referral context can be preserved.
  • Read the privacy and AI data consent screens before continuing.

Where to find it #

iOS #

  1. Open the NutriTracker iOS app.
  2. Tap Create account or continue with the sign-in provider shown on the first screen.

Android #

  1. Open the NutriTracker Android app.
  2. Tap Create account or choose the sign-in provider shown on the first screen.

Web #

  1. Open /register in your browser, or continue from the registration link opened by Find Your Coach.
  2. Use email and password, or choose a supported sign-in provider when shown.

How to use it #

  1. Enter your email address and create a password of at least 8 characters when using email sign-up.
  2. When you arrive from Find Your Coach, review the coach and goal context shown in registration. WordPress does not ask for your email or reveal the matched coach before this handoff.
  3. Add your name and profile basics when prompted. These help your coach speak to you naturally.
  4. Choose your coach personality during onboarding.
  5. Review AI data consent. AI coaching is only available when consent is active.
  6. Finish onboarding and open Chat for your first coaching conversation.

What happens next #

  • Your account is created and your selected coach becomes the default coach for chat.
  • Quiz context is only copied into coaching context after AI data consent is accepted. User-entered onboarding answers take priority over quiz answers.
  • Referral rewards are evaluated after the referred friend completes onboarding, not at signup.
  • NutriTracker may ask optional questions about goals, country, and health integrations so advice can be more relevant.
  • You can change profile details later in Settings > Account on web, Settings > Profile on iOS, or Settings > Profile on Android.

Troubleshooting #

  • My email is already in use. Use Log in instead of Create account, or use Forgot password if you cannot remember the password.
  • My Find Your Coach handoff expired. Run the quiz again or continue with normal registration. Expired quiz links should not block signup.
  • My invite reward did not appear after signup. Rewards unlock after the friend completes onboarding. They can also be blocked by expired attribution, using the wrong link, an existing account, or the monthly reward cap.
  • The Create account button is disabled. Check that required fields are complete and the password has at least 8 characters.
  • I used Apple or Google and cannot find my account. Sign in with the same provider and email you used originally. If Apple Private Relay was used, your account email may not look like your normal email.
  • The email link did not arrive. Check spam and promotions folders, then request the link again. Password reset responses are deliberately neutral for account security.

Privacy and safety notes #

  • Payment card details are handled by Stripe, Apple, or Google Play. NutriTracker does not store full card details.
  • Find Your Coach handoff stores controlled quiz context and safe attribution, not raw free text, full URLs, or click IDs in registration URLs.
  • You can delete your account later from Settings. Store subscriptions may also need to be cancelled in Apple or Google account settings.
