Progress Photos

Progress Photos help you keep a visual record when that feels useful. They are optional and should support perspective, not pressure.

Before you start #

  • You must be signed in.
  • Progress photo upload limits depend on your plan. Pro includes unlimited progress photos in current subscription copy.
  • Mobile camera or photo library permissions are required when uploading from your device.

How to use it #

  1. Open Progress.
  2. Choose the add or upload control.
  3. Select or take the photo set requested by the screen.
  4. Add a date or optional notes/metrics when the upload flow asks.
  5. Wait for upload to finish before leaving the screen.

What happens next #

  • Photos are saved to your account and can appear in the progress library.
  • Where metrics are captured with the photo, NutriTracker can mirror relevant weight information into the metrics system, but manual weight entries and health data remain the canonical weight source for a date.
  • Your coach may use progress photo context when you ask about progress and permissions allow it.

Troubleshooting #

  • Camera access was denied. Use the Open Settings button shown by the app, then enable camera or photo library access for NutriTracker.
  • Upload failed. Check connection, use a supported image, and retry from Progress.
  • I hit a limit. Open Settings > Subscription to check your plan and photo quota.
  • A photo date is wrong. Open the photo or set and use the date edit option when shown. If you cannot edit it, contact support.

Privacy and safety notes #

  • Progress photos are personal data. Do not upload images you are uncomfortable storing in your account.
  • Delete photos you no longer want to keep, or delete your account if you want all account data removed.
