Managing Your Subscription

Subscription management depends on who bills you. Web Stripe subscriptions are managed in NutriTracker; Apple and Google Play subscriptions are managed through their stores. No-card trial users have no payment provider until they subscribe.

Before you start #

  • Sign in to the NutriTracker account linked to the subscription.
  • Check the Managed by provider on the Subscription screen where shown.
  • A no-card trial may show trial status and expiry without Apple, Google Play, or Stripe as the provider.
  • Do not send payment card details to support.

Where to find it #

iOS #

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Subscription.
  3. Use Restore purchases or open iPhone Settings > your name > Subscriptions for Apple-managed changes.

Android #

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap NutriTracker Pro or Subscription.
  3. Use Manage subscription or Restore purchases. Google Play subscriptions are managed in Google Play.

Web #

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Open Subscription or /settings/subscription.
  3. Use Manage subscription, Cancel subscription, or Reactivate subscription when shown.

How to use it #

  1. Open Subscription.
  2. Check whether the plan says Managed by Apple App Store, Google Play, or Stripe.
  3. Check whether the plan is monthly or annual, and whether you are in a no-card trial, provider trial, active paid period, cancelled period, or expired state.
  4. For Stripe, use the web Subscription page to cancel or reactivate where shown.
  5. For Apple, manage or cancel in iPhone Settings > your name > Subscriptions.
  6. For Google Play, manage or cancel in Google Play > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions.
  7. Use Restore purchases on mobile if a store purchase is not reflected in NutriTracker.

What happens next #

  • Stripe cancellations keep Pro access until the period end, except a trial may end immediately if the app says so.
  • No-card trials expire automatically if you do not subscribe. Payment capture happens only after you choose a paid plan through Stripe, Apple, or Google Play.
  • Apple and Google Play apply their own subscription management and cancellation timing.
  • Reactivation is available for Stripe cancellations before the period end when the app shows Reactivate subscription.

Troubleshooting #

  • I cannot cancel in NutriTracker. Check the Managed by provider. Apple and Google Play subscriptions must be cancelled through the store account.
  • My trial expired. Open Subscription and choose a paid monthly or annual plan if you want Pro access to continue. Your account data remains on the account.
  • Restore purchases did not work. Confirm you are signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account that purchased the subscription.
  • I still have access after cancelling. That can be correct until the end of the paid period. Check the access-until date shown in the app or store.
  • The provider looks wrong. Email help@nutritracker.io with your account email, platform, and any receipt ID from Apple, Google, or Stripe.
