How AI Memory Works

Your coach builds up a memory of facts about you over time. This is what allows them to give increasingly personalised advice – they remember your preferences, goals, and history without you having to repeat yourself.

What gets remembered? #

Your coach may remember:

  • Your goals and why they matter to you
  • Dietary preferences and restrictions
  • Foods you enjoy or dislike
  • Your typical schedule and lifestyle
  • Progress milestones
  • Challenges you have mentioned

How facts are created #

Your coach automatically extracts facts from your conversations. For example, if you mention “I do not eat red meat,” your coach will record that as a dietary preference.

Who can see your memory? #

Only you and your AI coach. NutriTracker staff do not routinely access your memory data.

Controlling your memory #

You have full control:

  • View – see all recorded facts in Settings > Memory
  • Pin – mark facts as permanent
  • Delete – remove any fact you do not want remembered
  • Pause – stop your coach from learning new facts temporarily
  • Export – download a copy of all your memory data
