MyFitnessPal Integration

NutriTracker can import your food diary from MyFitnessPal, so your coach has an accurate picture of what you are eating even if you prefer to log there.

How to connect #

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations > MyFitnessPal
  2. Enter your MyFitnessPal username
  3. Tap Connect

Your food diary will sync automatically once connected.

Sync behaviour #

When you trigger a sync (or it runs automatically), it may take up to a couple of minutes to complete. During this time:

  • You will see a “Sync in progress” indicator
  • Your coach knows a sync is running and will not quote today’s macros as final numbers until the sync completes
  • Once complete, your macros update automatically – no manual refresh needed

If you trigger a sync on one device (e.g. web), other devices (iOS, Android) will detect the sync in progress and update your macros automatically when it finishes.

Troubleshooting #

If your diary is not syncing, check that your MyFitnessPal diary is set to Public in your MyFitnessPal privacy settings. NutriTracker cannot access private diaries.
