Refund handling depends on the billing provider. Apple and Google Play usually require refund requests through their store systems; Stripe web purchases can be reviewed by NutriTracker support.
Before you start #
- Do not send full card details to support.
- Have your NutriTracker account email and purchase provider ready.
- Apple and Google Play purchases are subject to their store refund processes.
Where to find it #
iOS #
- Open Apple's report-a-problem or App Store purchase support flow for Apple-billed purchases.
- Open NutriTracker > Settings > Subscription to confirm Apple is the provider.
Android #
- Open Google Play purchase history or Google Play refund support for Google-billed purchases.
- Open NutriTracker > Settings > Subscription to confirm Google Play is the provider.
Web #
- Email help@nutritracker.io for Stripe web purchase refund questions.
- Open Settings > Subscription to confirm Stripe is the provider.
How to use it #
- Check your provider in NutriTracker Settings > Subscription.
- For Apple purchases, request the refund through Apple.
- For Google Play purchases, request the refund through Google Play.
- For Stripe web purchases, email help@nutritracker.io with your account email, purchase date, and reason.
- Include the provider's receipt ID if you have one. Do not include full card numbers.
What happens next #
- Apple or Google Play decides store refund requests through their own process.
- NutriTracker support can review Stripe web purchase issues and account state.
- A refund, cancellation, or failed renewal can change Pro entitlement once provider data syncs.
Troubleshooting #
- I do not know who billed me. Open Settings > Subscription and check Managed by, or check your bank statement and receipt email.
- Apple or Google declined a refund. Follow the appeal or support path offered by the store. NutriTracker cannot override store refund decisions.
- I was charged after account deletion. Check whether an Apple or Google Play subscription is still active and cancel it in the store.
- I cannot access the account email. Email help@nutritracker.io with provider receipt details and any previous account email you remember.
