How to Upgrade to Pro

Upgrade from the Subscription screen. The checkout provider depends on where you upgrade: Apple on iOS, Google Play on Android, and Stripe on web. Eligible users may also see a no-card Pro trial before choosing a paid plan.

Before you start #

  • You must be signed in.
  • Use the same NutriTracker account you want Pro applied to.
  • Trial availability is account and platform dependent. Follow only what the app shows at onboarding, paywall, or checkout.

Where to find it #

iOS #

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Subscription.
  3. Choose the Pro option shown and confirm with Apple.

Android #

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Upgrade to Pro or NutriTracker Pro.
  3. Choose the Pro option shown and confirm with Google Play.

Web #

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Open Subscription or /settings/subscription.
  3. Choose Monthly or Yearly and continue to Stripe checkout.

How to use it #

  1. Open Subscription.
  2. Review Monthly and Yearly options where shown.
  3. Start the no-card Pro trial first when the app offers it and you want to try Pro before adding payment details.
  4. Choose the plan you want.
  5. Confirm purchase through Apple, Google Play, or Stripe.
  6. Return to NutriTracker and wait for the plan status to refresh.

What happens next #

  • Your account should show Pro once the purchase is confirmed and the entitlement sync completes.
  • No-card trial users are treated as Pro during the 7-day trial and return to Free after automatic expiry unless they subscribe.
  • Web checkout returns to NutriTracker after Stripe completes or cancels checkout.
  • Mobile purchases can be restored from the Subscription screen if the entitlement does not refresh.

Troubleshooting #

  • Checkout failed. Check your payment method with Apple, Google Play, or Stripe and try again.
  • The no-card trial will not start. Check Settings > Subscription for eligibility or existing trial history. Support can inspect trial state, but a trial cannot be restarted automatically after expiry.
  • The app still says Free. Tap Restore purchases on mobile, or refresh web and sign in again.
  • I upgraded on the wrong account. Contact help@nutritracker.io with both account emails and the purchase provider. Do not send full card details.
  • I cannot see a trial. Trial availability depends on account eligibility and current product rollout. Use the plan options shown in the app.
