Garmin support is not currently available as a public user connection in the NutriTracker web hook. Some Garmin UI components and roadmap references exist, but the public connection flow is not implemented for normal accounts.
Before you start #
- Do not expect a public Garmin Connect button in current Settings unless the team has explicitly enrolled your account in a Garmin test.
- Use Feature Requests for Garmin roadmap interest.
- Use Apple Health on iOS or Health Connect on Android for supported health data today.
Where to find it #
iOS #
- Garmin is not shown as a standard iOS Settings integration.
- Use Settings > Integrations > Apple Health for health data.
Android #
- Garmin is not shown as a standard Android Settings integration.
- Use Settings > Connected Apps > Health Connect for health data.
Web #
- A Garmin component exists in the codebase, but the web Garmin hook reports Garmin integration is not currently implemented.
- Use Feature Requests to upvote Garmin support.
How to use it #
- For current health data, connect Apple Health on iOS or Health Connect on Android.
- To show product interest, open Feature Requests and search for Garmin.
- Upvote an existing Garmin idea or submit a new request if your use case is genuinely different.
- Include what Garmin data would help your coaching, such as steps, heart rate, sleep, stress, or workouts.
What happens next #
- A Feature Request upvote adds roadmap signal but does not create a support ticket or guarantee delivery.
- If Garmin becomes public, this article should be updated with exact Settings paths and connection steps.
- Current insights may still show Garmin attribution only if a backend-supported Garmin data source is present for a user; this is not the normal public connection flow.
Troubleshooting #
- I cannot find Garmin in Settings. That is expected for normal accounts. Use Apple Health or Health Connect for current supported health data.
- A page says Garmin is available. Send the link and your platform to help@nutritracker.io so support can check whether the copy is stale or you are in a limited test.
- I want Garmin added. Use Feature Requests and search for Garmin before submitting a duplicate.
- My Garmin data appears in one place but I cannot connect Garmin. Contact support with your account email and screenshot of the data source label so the team can verify the account state.
Privacy and safety notes #
- Do not share Garmin credentials with support or in Feature Requests.
