What Is the Daily Briefing?

The Daily Briefing is a short coach-led summary for today. It can use recent context, connected data, and active routines to help you choose a realistic next step.

Before you start #

  • You must be signed in and have AI data consent active.
  • Briefings are more useful when NutriTracker has recent chat, activity, sleep, nutrition, or plan context.
  • An active fasting plan can add fasting-aware context and suppress meal nudges during fasting windows.
  • Coaching Rhythm can add timing context when rhythm personalisation and relevant permissions are active.

Where to find it #

iOS #

  1. Tap Insights.
  2. Look near the top of the Overview area for the Daily Briefing card.

Android #

  1. Tap Insights.
  2. Open Overview.
  3. Look near the top for the Daily Briefing card.

Web #

  1. Open /insights.
  2. Open the Overview tab.
  3. Look for the Daily Briefing or Evening Review card.

How to use it #

  1. Open Insights in the morning or whenever you want a quick read on the day.
  2. Read the coach summary and any listed insights.
  3. Tap or click a suggested action when one is shown.
  4. Use Chat if you want the coach to turn the briefing into a plan for meals, training, or recovery.

What happens next #

  • The briefing does not force a plan. It gives context and a practical next step.
  • After 20:00, some platforms may show an Evening Review or day review instead of the morning-style briefing.
  • If fasting is active, the briefing may reflect the current fasting or eating window.
  • If Coaching Rhythm has enough signal, the briefing may suggest better-timed check-ins or actions for your usual day.

Troubleshooting #

  • I cannot see a briefing. Check AI Data Sharing, open Insights > Overview, and make sure you are signed in. New accounts may need more context before the card is useful.
  • The briefing looks wrong. Sync connected health data, correct recent chat context, and check your timezone/profile details.
  • The timing suggestion does not fit today. Tell your coach what changed or use Coaching Rhythm controls to pause or reset timing personalisation.
  • The briefing mentions meals during a fast. Open Intermittent Fasting and check the current phase. If the timer is wrong, adjust or pause the plan.
  • I want a different plan. Open Chat and ask your coach to adapt the briefing around your actual day.

  • Daily Briefings can use health-adjacent context you provide or connect. Manage AI Data Sharing, integrations, and memory in Settings.
