Deleting your account permanently removes your NutriTracker account data. It may not cancel Apple or Google Play billing, so check store subscriptions separately.
Before you start #
- Deletion is permanent.
- The mobile confirmation asks you to type DELETE.
- If you subscribed through Apple or Google Play, cancel the store subscription separately to stop future billing.
Where to find it #
iOS #
- Open Settings.
- Scroll to the danger area.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Type DELETE when prompted.
Android #
- Open Settings.
- Tap Delete Account in the danger area.
- Type DELETE when prompted.
Web #
- Open Settings.
- Open Advanced.
- Click Delete account.
- Type DELETE when prompted.
How to use it #
- Cancel any Apple or Google Play subscription first if you are billed through a store.
- Open Delete Account.
- Read the warning.
- Type DELETE exactly when the app asks.
- Confirm Delete My Account or the destructive delete action shown.
What happens next #
- NutriTracker removes account data such as chat history, progress photos, personal data, uploads, and sessions.
- Coaching Rhythm data, referral account links, and saved coaching artefacts are removed with account data according to the deletion process.
- Stripe subscriptions are cancelled where the backend can cancel them during deletion.
- Apple or Google Play subscriptions may remain active and require manual cancellation in the store.
- You are signed out after deletion.
Troubleshooting #
- DELETE is not accepted. Type DELETE in capital letters with no extra spaces.
- I changed my mind. Cancel the dialog before confirming. After deletion, the action is permanent.
- I am still being charged. Check Apple Subscriptions or Google Play Subscriptions and cancel there.
- The delete button is disabled. Confirm the required text and check your connection.
Privacy and safety notes #
- Deletion is an account data action, not medical or billing advice.
- Support cannot use your password and should not ask for it.
